Services

Planning Appeals

This can either take the form of renegotiating a scheme with the local authority, which can be quicker and more productive than appeal or a formal appeal to the Planning Inspectorate through Written Representations, Informal Hearing or Public Inquiry procedures.

Brokering negotiations

Clare Wright provides an independent, objective view to broker acceptable solutions on design related issues at all stages in the planning and enforcement process. Associates provide services on specialist access and inclusion issues.
This stand-alone service is particularly useful for architects, planning consultants and local authorities that have reached an impasse where the next steps are likely to be appeal or enforcement, involving open ended costs and costly delay. It is a short, focussed service taking typically 1 day meeting and ½ day follow-up.
Principles of negotiations followed by C.B.Wright & Associates are based on the mediation process aimed to reach a settlement or set of actions agreed by both parties.

Planning Applications

For single, high quality residential properties, extensions and changes of use and commercial alterations, extensions and new build. For new applications and to re-negotiate current, withdrawn or refused applications. Clare Wright may also be called upon to provide one-off advice for other planning consultants, property owners and builders on design and local planning issues and brokerage support between parties.
